So my mom works in Walnut Creek and the other day her boss came up to her and said “what’s that girl doing?” and pointed to a teenage girl sitting on the ledge of the roof of the parking building across the street. Her car was parked in front of her and she was just sitting there alone. My mom looked out and realized the girl was crying. As their trying to decide if they should go out and see if she’s okay, the girl moves and straddles the ledge of the building. My mom and her boss are worried so they call the police. They show up in about 5 min and watch as he talks to the girl for about 30 min and gets her to come off the ledge. A couple minutes later an ambulance arrives and takes the girl away. The only reason a police will call an ambulance for someone who’s not physically injured is if they believe they’ll cause self harm. So most likely..she was gonna jump.

My mom said she was a pretty girl, had a really nice car, and looked like she came from a wealthy family. This may not be true, but it just shows that no matter how happy someone looks or how good of a life it may seem like they have, that person may not be happy at all. So a life lesson for whoever reads this, if anyone does, DON’T JUDGE PEOPLE. And be nice. You never know whats truly going on in someone’s life.
